Slide Design: Waste space!
Less is more!
“Overcrowding is a mistake in slide design” (Nancy Duarte, in Slideology). Space in the PowerPoint presentation is good – it helps to concentrate on the core message of the slide. This also means: Only one message per slide. The more information there is on the slide (to be read), the less you will be listened to. Instead of packing as much information as possible in one slide, you better look for an eye-catcher that stands for the message of the slide. The eye-catcher can be a picture, a word or a number.
Not everything you want to say has to be on the slide.
Delete anything that could distract you.
